I carried over my vocational training from high school to further my career in the company starting out as a fabricator and eventually worked up to pipe fitter/welder and plumber. During my Senior year in high school I enlisted in the Montana Army National Guard. I Served 9 years part time as a Brady IFV mechanic (63T) and Tank recovery specialists (H8). ETS as a E5 Sergeant.
In 2004 I acquired my American Welding Society Certified Welding Inspector qualification. As owner and inspector, this job requires specific and broad knowledge of building codes, engineered specifications, plan review, and code qualification testing. Entails working with established quality control and quality assurance programs. As well, the development and setting in motion of QC/QA protocols.
Owner, operator, and distiller of a small local whiskey distillery located in Belgrade. I am a strong advocate for the Montana farm, agriculture, and food and fermented beverage industries. Being in the fermented beverage industry a broad knowledge of government regulations is essential. This industry is a unique way to get Montana farmed products in a bottle and into markets across the world.
